Welcome to the official website for Eta Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc!
Chartered in December of 1962, the members of Eta Rho Omega are women who utilized their talents under the bonds of sisterhood to create programs and provide services that have a long-standing history in the Silicon Valley. Programs such as our baccalaureate, where we award scholarships and celebrate high school graduates, and our Debutante Ball where we provide young ladies and men workshops geared towards broadening their knowledge and experiences in the areas of educational enrichment, personal growth, community service and etiquette. Then there are our collaborations with community partners, such as Family Supportive Housing, DREAM House and the African American Community Service Agency to provide clothing, toiletries, school supplies, and toys. Whatever is needed the women of Eta Rho Omega are there to provide and support!
Under International President Danette Anthony Reed, we are Up Lifting Our Local Community through our Women Transforming Health event which focuses on heart health and mental awareness, Empowering Families through our Youth Leadership Institute a program geared towards students ages 11-13 and Strengthening our Sisterhood, through our Soror Squads and our We are One service day events.
